Can someone tell me the difference between sine, cosine, and tangent

Answer:

sin∅ = opposite over hypotenuse

cos∅ = adjacent over hypotenuse

tan∅ = opposite over adjacent

Explanation:

Each of these trigs are used to find angles or lengths of a triangle.

sin∅ would be the y-value of the unit circle.

cos∅ would be the x-value of the unit circle.
