Add both sides by 4 because we want to find x-term so we have to isolate it. The reason why we have to add 4 both sides because it’s the equation, telling that LHS is equal to RHS so if one of the sides change, another side will change the same to that side as well:

Now x-term is isolated, therefore, the value of x is 20.
