Is (6/5, 2) a solution to y = x + 4/5

No, it is not. We know ordered pairs go like this: (x, y). If x is equal to 6.5, then we can do 6.5 + 4.5, which equals 11. If x is 6.5, then y should be 11, not 2.

Answer:

Yes, it is.

Explanation:

y = x + 4/5

2 = 6/5 + 4/5

2 = 10/5

2 = 2

Two equals two.
