Answer: 1

Explanation:

When you come across any question that states [a of b] means a × b.

If you are still confused, I will provide some examples.

  • 1/2 of 1/2= 1/4 (1/2 × 1/2=1/4)
  • 3/5 of 5= 3 (3/5 × 5=3)

This also applies to your question.

3/4 of 8/6= 3/4 × 8/6=3/4 × 4/3=1

Hope this helps!! :)

Answer:

First of all, to calculate what a fraction of a fraction is, we multiply them:

(3)/(4)*(8)/(6) =
(3*8)/(4*6) =
(24)/(24) = 1

So now we know that three quarters of 8/6 is equal to 1.

We could also simplify 8/6 dividing both numerator and denominator by the same number:

(8)/(6)=((8)/(2))/((6)/(2))=(4)/(3)

And see that 3/4 of 4/3 is also equal to 1:

(3)/(4)*(4)/(3)=(3*4)/(4*3)=(12)/(12) = 1
