Explain how the settlement of the United States might have been affected if the colonists had landed on the west cost rather than on the east coast? Must not be less than 50 words

The main difference would be on how the colonists used the natural resources available at that location. The west coast had some advantages if compared to the east coast, such as the production of gold and a much richer mineral and metallurgic reserve. However, the interactions with the local people being colonized (the Mexican people in this case) would be much the same as in the east cost with the local native people who lived there.
