-5y +15 = 3x

divide both sides by 3 to find x

-5y/3 + 5 = x

to find Y you have to isolate it so you add 5y to both sides and subtract 3x from both sides to get

-3x + 15 = 5y

then to find y divide both sides by 5

-3x/5 + 5 = y

The ones in bold are your answers and they are in their simplest form.
