Answer:

954.56 cm²

Explanation:

Firstly i would calculate the circumference of the circles on top of the cylinders:

Circumference of circles =
\pi d or
2\pi r

d = diameter

r = radius

I will use
2\pi r

circumference = 2 x 3.14 x 8 = 50.24 cm

⇒ This would help me to find out the surface area of the side of the cylinder

50.24 x 11 = 552.64 cm²

⇒ This is the surface are of the sides

Now we have to find the are of the two circles on the top and the bottom:

Area of a circle =
\pi d^(2)

d = diameter

3.14 x 8² = 200.96

⇒ There are two circles so you would times 200.96 by 2

200.96 x 2 = 401.92

Add all the values up:

401.92 + 552.64 = 954.56 cm²

I hope this helps!
