Question 1:

The purpose of the experiment was to learn about genetic variation,

what it is, how it works, what it does, and how it happens.

Question 2:

The difference between a dominant and recessive trait is a dominant trait is more powerful than a recessive because recessive looks a little like it and dominant looks a little like TT but with Tt dominant trait and recessive, Dominant wins. Almost like being in a boxing tournament, and there is a big guy TT and a small tiny guy tt. It's inevitable that the bigger guy wins (TT) unless there is a factor missing from the big guy (disadvantage) (but you will still end up with the dominant trait) So, the dominant will take over and give you the dominant trait.

Hope this helps=)
