. Plants have two transport systems - xylem and phloem. Xylem transports water and minerals. Phloem transports sugars and amino acids dissolved in water.

Answer:

Plants cells have a strong cellulose cell wall outside the membrane.This cell wall is fully permeable to all molecules and supports the cell and stops it from bursting when it gains water by osmosis.In pure water the cell content which is the cytoplasm and vacuole pushes against the cell wall and the cell becomes turgid......I hope this helps you....
