Answer:

100 cm^2.

Explanation:

Area of shaded part = area of the whole rectangle - area of the triangle

Area of rectangle = 14 * 10 = 140.

Area of the triangle = 1/2 * base * height

= 1/2 * 10 * (14-6)

= 5 * 8

= 40

So required area = 140 - 40 = 100 cm^2.
