How would siamangs be affected if the rain forests they live in produced less fruit? Explain your reasoning.

Answer:

Siamangs are arboreal,in habitat.They are species of gibbons found in the rain forest. They are skillful at moving among tree branches,their swift movement made them to escape predators.They are very noisy.

These animals are light weight because of light bones.Their head is small and round in shape.They have long arms,longer than the legs.Their body is slim.

75 of their diet is made up of fruits.They are omnivores like human thus they eat plants parts,insects, eggs of small birds etc.

They are endangered species.This is because of rapid deforestation of the rain forest habitats for developments. If 75% of their diet (which is fruits is not available)due to less fruits production, definitely they will be endangered and go to extinction from starvation as other sources of food would not sustain them.
