I NEED THE ANSWER ASAP!!!!!!!! Wastewater is treated with chlorine to kill bacteria. However, chlorine can be toxic to certain fish that live in the ocean. Why does this most likely add to the cost of cleaning water?

This most likely adds to the cost of cleaning water because you have to find a safe alternative so it does not hurt any animals in the water.

Answer:

if they are dumping wastewater into the ocean your place isnt that smart now are they

the best thing to do is clean the water and use it for drinking water etc

cuz the fact that there is not alot of drinking water but we have to be carefull of how much water we turn into drinking water cuz if it all tuned into fress drinkable water the world would be so much lighter and the atmosphere would most likly not be able to support us or other lifeforms and if we did manage to live then we would need to become so much heaver so a normal person would go from 200 pounds to 500 or more easily so there are ristriction on how much we can turn into dinkable water but we have such less rn but it would be easy to calculate with the help of some math people

hope this helps you learn
