  • pH value of acids are betwee 0 and 7 while in bases the pH value os between 7 and 14

  • acid is called a proton donor while a base is called a proton acceptor

  • base can accept a proton while an acid can accept an electron pair

  • acids are substance that give off hydrogen ions to form hydronium (H30) ions when dissolved in water while bases are substances that contain hydroxide (OH) ions when in water

hope that helps !
