To get the perimeter and area of this figure, first we would have to get the value of c using the Pythagorean theorem.

a^2+b^2=c^2

(6)^2+(8)^2=c^2

36+64=c^2

100=c^2

10=c

Perimeter= a+b+c

P=6+8+10

P=14+10

P=24

A=1/2*b*h

A=1/2*6*8

A=3*8

A=24

Answer:

Hey there!

Perimeter: 24

Area: 24

36+64=x^2

x=10

Perimeter: 10+6+8=24

Area: 1/2bh, 1/2(48)=24

Both the area and perimeter are 24.
