To solve for n you have to get n by itself. To do that you first subtract 21 then divide by 5.

5n=-21
n=-21/5 or n=-4.2

Answer:

n does not have a defined value, but it has only one value, it is only possible to determined it in an equality let's say that 5n+21=26 there n =1

but we don't know the value

so it stays as 5n+21
