- 2(x - 1) + 3(6x - 7)

Is given.

Multiply (x,-1) by -2 and (6x,-7) by 3.


(- 2x + 2) + (18x - 21)

open brackets.


= - 2x + 2 + 18x - 21

Add and subtract like terms.


= - 2x + 18x + 2 - 21


= 16x - 19

Therefore, the answer is (16x - 19).
