After 8 years, the father’s age will be (28+8) = 36.

Answer:

The boy is 7 years old and his father is 28

Explanation:

One way to do it is to find everything that is equal to 1:4 and find the sums of those.

1:4=5

2:8=10

3:12=15

4:16=20

5:20=25

6:24=30

7:28=35
