Total area of the composite figure = 129.1 square units

Explanation:

Area of the figure attached = Area of semicircle + Area of the rectangle

Since area of the semicircle =
(1)/(2)\pi r^(2)

where 'r' = radius of the circle

Area of the semicircle =
(1)/(2)\pi (4)^(2)

= 8π

= 25.1 square units

Area of the rectangle = Length × width

= 13 × 8

= 104 square units

Total area of the composite figure = 25.1 + 104

= 129.1 square units
