Answer:

Letter to the Principal about two practices that must be discouraged among students and two habits that should be promoted among the teachers.

Step-by-step explanation:

Date: 23 May 2020

Subject: Practices to be prohibited among the students and habits to be promoted among the teachers.

Dear Sir,

It is with utmost concern that I am writing to you about our school's take on certain issues, both for the students as well as the teachers. I have noticed that many of our students have got so accustomed to their cell phones and other technological devices that it is almost near impossible to take regular and interactive classes. As I have noticed in my own class, many of the students don't seem to be interested in classes anymore.

And as many parents have also pointed out, I think it is important that we consider prohibiting the use of cell phones inside the classrooms. Also, the culture of allowing students to stay out of class if they are not interested should also be reviewed.

And for the teachers, I have seen that many teachers have taken upon themselves to prohibit the use of cellphones in class and give punishment to anyone found violating the rules. Though this hasn't been 'legally and validly' made a school rule, it is my view that teachers be allowed to practice such acts so as to make their students more attentive. Also, I feel that teachers be given more rights to do whatever they feel right for their class as long as it promotes teaching and learning in their classes without the opposition from the school.

So, I would like to request you to take them into consideration and hope you can make some changes to our education system.

Thank you.

Regards,

Miss Richards.
