Answer: x = -5/12
Step-by-step explanation:
1/6(6x-5) - x = 1/3 - 2(x + 1)
(6x - 5)/6 - 6x/6 = 2/6 - 6(2x + 2)/6
6x - 5 - 6x = 2 - 12x - 12
-5 = -12x - 10
12x = -5
x = -5/12
Therefore, x = -5/12
