I need help with an algebra problem.

"If one chocolate bar make three s'mores, how many bars will you need to purchase to make 26 s'mores?"
I can't figure this one out. In theory it would be 9 bars. But I need to have an algebraic solution for it. ​

3x=26

x=8.6

(round to nearest whole)

x=9 chocolate bars
