helppp. Try to write your own poem in imitation of “We Real Cool.” You could open with Brooks’s title, or you could choose one of your own. You might build your poem on a series of statements that begin “I am…” or “We are…” Who will be the speaker (or speakers) of your poem? Put in as many examples of alliteration as you can.
