Given: A = {a, e, i, o, u}, B = {a, l, g, e, b, r}, C = {m, y, t, h}, A ∩ C is m, a, e, i, o, u, t, h the empty set i a, e, i, o, u, y

Answer:

the empty set

Explanation:

this simbol ∩ is the intersection and it works as follows

X={1,2,3}\\\\Y={2,5,6,3}\\\\

and X∩Y={2, 3}

because 2 and 3 are the only ones that are in both sets

so we have

A={a, e, i, o, u}

B={a, l, g, e, b, r}

C={m, y, t, h}

A∩C= the empty set

because A and C don't have any common subset

Answer:

the Empty set

Explanation:

Recall that the intersection of two sets is another set that contains the elements common to both of the intersected sets.

Since sets A and C have NO element in common, then the answer is:

that the intersecting set is: the Empty set.
