y = kx look at the tables given and you will see that answer C

fits this equation when k = 1/6

y = 3 x = 1/6(18)

y = 4 1/2 x = 1/6 (27) etc

Multiply the x values by 1/6 to see which y values match.


doing this the answer would be C.


18 x 1/6 = 3

27 x 1/6 = 4 1/2

33 x 1/6 = 5 1/2


answer: C.
