What conditions would determine whether or not two numbers' GCF is equal to one of the original numbers?

Explanation:

GCF is literally abbreviated to "Greatest Common Factor". In order for two numbers to have the same GCF they must have a number that they both could be multiplied by.

I also suggest using a factor tree. Super useful when figuring out the rest of the common factors.
