Okay so this is my opinion. Humans are the smartest animals on earth. I don't feel we are more valuable, but I do feel that we are important. We were created in the likeness of God and He wouldn't have made us if we weren't more important. (Sorry if you don't believe in God, I'm just stating my opinion) Anyway, think of it this way to help shape your thoughts, if there was a fire and you were the only one there and you could only save one, would you save an animal (can't be your favorite, just one that you are ishy with) or a person (the person is not your friend, but not your enemy either, just an ish) who would you save?
