2·x - y = 4....................(1)

5·x + 2·y = 10..............(2)

Multiplying equation (1) by 2 and subtract it from equation (2) gives;

5·x + 2·y - 2 × (2·x - y) = 10 - 2×4

5·x - 4·x + 2·y - 2·y = 2

x = 2

From equation (1), we have 2·x - y = 4, when x = 2, we get;

2×2 - y = 4

y = 2×2 -4 = 0

y = 0

Therefore;

The solution of the system of equation in coordinate form is (2, 0).
