Mass of a box (m) = 300kg

Area of box (a) = 15m²

Pressure exerted by the box (P) = ?

Acceleration due to gravity (g) = 9.8m/s²

Here,

Pressure = Force / Area

= mass × acceleration due to gravity / Area [Since, force=mass×acceleration due to gravity]

= 300 × 9.8 / 15

= 2940 / 15

= 196 N/m²
