Isabella is going to a carnival that has games and rides. Each game costs $2 and each ride costs $4. Isabella spent $40 altogether on 15 games and rides. Answer: (10,5)

Explanation:

You have to graph it but the equations are

x+y=15 (total number of games and rides)

2x+4y+40 (total money spent)

first equation is also y= -x+15

second is 4y= -2x+40

y= -.5x+10

So graph y= -x+15 and y= -1/2x+10 and where the lines cross is your answer

also -x+15= -.5x+10

15=.5x+10

5=.5x

10=x

10+y=15

y=5
