6^2-3•4=? I’m confused on this so I would appreciate some help ;)

PEMDAS states that the order you go in is:

1. Parentheses

2. Exponents

3. Multiplication/Division

There are no parentheses, so first we have to solve the exponent.


6^2=36\\\\36-3\cdot4

Now we have to multiply.


36-12

And now subtract.


24
