Answer:

the formula of slope is : (y)₂-(y)₁ ÷(x)₂-(x)₁

Explanation:

(x)₁=8,(x)₂=6

(y)₁=2,(y)₂=8

the slope = (y)₂-(y)₁ ÷ (x)₂-(x)₁

= 8-2 ÷6-8

= 3/-1

= -3

therefore slope is -3

Answer:

-3

Explanation:

To do this you just have to do the slope formula which is
(y_(2)-y_(1) )/(x_(2)-x_(1) ) then plug in the numbers so you get
(8-2)/(6-8) which would
(6)/(-2) get you which can be reduced to -3 so that would be the answer
