Answer:

56.15

Explanation:

First, convert
6(9)/(20) lbs to a decimal. Multiply the main number (6) by the denominator (20) and then add that number to the numerator (9). The number you will get will be (6 x 20)+9 = 129. 129 is now the new numerator as an improper fraction so the improper fraction is now
(129)/(20).

Now make
17(17)/(25) lbs an improper fraction. It would be
(442)/(25).

Now subtract the amount of pork from the total amount of meat.
(442)/(25) -
(129)/(20) . Find a common denominator. I'm going to use 500, although there might be something less.

(5615)/(100) is the result. Now you can either start dividing or simplify the fraction, which hopefully you already know how to do. 5615 ÷ 100 = 56.15

Really hope this helped, I tried explaining well! Ask more questions if you need!
