If he gains 10 pounds in each moth , then his weight in m months will be = 10m

His total weight will be= 120+10m -----(1)

Gerardo's original weight = 150 pounds

If he gains 4 pounds in each month , then his weight in m months will me =4m

His total weight will be = 150+4m-----(2)

Equating (1) ans(2)

120+10m=150+4m

=>10m-4m=150-120

=>6m=30

=>m=
`(30)/(6)`

=>m=5

It will take 5 months for Jason to weigh the same as Gerardo
