Neanderthals are extinct species. They were a subspecies of archaic humans. They 40,000 years ago in Eurasia.

They mostly resided in caves and moved between caves seasonally. They lives in high stresses environment and almost eighty percent dies before the age of 40.

The Neanderthals exploited resources such as minerals, flora and fauna. They used to spend their time in picking, fishing, hunting and harvesting.

So most of their time was spent in subsistence activities.
