2 - 4n = 2 - 4(3 - 2n)
2 - 4n = 2 - (12 - 8n) distribute the 4
2 - 4n = 2 - 12 - 8n parentheses don’t matter anymore
2 - 4n = -10 - 8n subtract 12 from 2
2 = -10 - 4n add 4n to both sides
12 = -4n add 10 to both sides
-3=n divide both sides by -4
Hope this helps!!:)

Answer:

\boxed{ \bold{ \huge{ \boxed{ \sf{n = 1}}}}}

Explanation:

\sf{2 - 4n = 2 - 4(3 - 2n)}

Distribute 4 through the parentheses

\sf{ 2 - 4n = 2 - 12 + 8n}

Move 8n to left hand side and change it's sign

\sf{2 - 4n - 8n = 2 - 12}

Collect like terms

\sf{2 - 12n = 2 - 12}

Move 2 to right hand side and change it's sign

\sf{ - 12n = 2 - 12 - 2}

Calculate

\sf{ - 12n = - 12}

Divide both sides of the equation by -12

\sf{ ( - 12n)/( - 12) = ( - 12)/( - 12) }

Calculate

\sf{n = 1}

Hope I helped!

Best regards!!
