Answer: D. Etic

Explanation: When studying and analysing the differences or Similarities between the past and present, different approaches of making these comparison or analysis exists. In a bid to to make larger analyses, the ETIC convert is usually adopted, whereby the cultural concepts inherent to a certain culture which are vivid, and could be classed as being universally true and globally acceptable. This is different from those concepts or principles which could only be understood by natives or a few people with substantial experience or knowledge about the culture.
