Subtract 11 from each side

4x^2+11-11= 59-11

4x^2 = 48

Divide by 4

4/4x^2 = 48/4

x^2 = 12

Take the square root of each side

sqrt(x^2) = sqrt(12)

x = ±sqrt(4 x 3)
