215 dimes, and 210 quarters

Explanation:

If there are 5 more dimes than quarters, this is correct: 215*10 (because a dime is 10 cents)=2150 cents, which is $21.50. 210*25(because a quarter is 25 cents)=5250 or $52.50. 21.50+52.50 = $74
