Being American is being free and having liberty. One of our greatest symbols is the Statue of Liberty. We are all protected by the constitution and the law that serves to our purpose. You have the right to pursue your dreams! What I also do appreciate is the people fighting for my freedom as well. They are risking their lived just so I’m safe, for people they don’t even know. And if isn’t for those reasons at least they’re brave enough to go way out of their comfort zone to fight.
Being an american is being a person born in a very blessed country. Of course people that were born here are not able to see that, and keep calling U.S.A a trash country. Which yes, it is a trash country, because of the people that are still being racist (trump supporters). America is thought to be a free Nation and country. it depends on your opinions but being an American means to do your part and live as well as you can.
Being an American means that you can make your own decisions about where you want to live, where you would like to work, who you'd want to marry ect. It means being brave, being proud of this country, and being confident that we will succeed. Being an American is an honor not a privilege.
