the circumference of the inner circle is 88 ft. the distance between the inner circle and the outer circle is 4 ft. By how many feet is the circumference of outer circle greater than the circumference of the inner​ circle? use

first calculate the radius of the inner circle, 88/2 = 44

44/PI (22/7)

the radius of the inner circle is 14ft, now we add the additional 4 ft distance between each circle onto the 14 ft. this results in 18 ft.

now we calculate the circumference of the outer circle by using R = 18.

2R (pi (22/7)) this gives us a circumference of 113.142857.

now we subtract

113.142857 - 88 = 25.142857

the answer is 25.142857 ft
