(Solve the following equation: 2 + 8x = 11x - 13 )

Please help! I usally get these right but I'm completelly stumped! ( Please explain in detail )

Explanation:

2 + 8x = 11x - 13 -------- subtract 2 from both sides

2 + 8x - 2 = 11x - 13 - 2

8x = 11x - 15 -------- subtract 11x from both sides

8x - 11x = 11x - 15 - 11x

-3x = -15

x = -15 / -3

x = 5
