~~~~~~2x^2 -3x +1=0\\\\\implies 2x^2 -2x-x +1=0\\\\\implies 2x(x-1) -(x-1)=0\\\\\implies (x-1)(2x-1) = 0\\\\\implies x = 1, ~ x = \frac 12
