The discriminant is a quick way to determine the quantity and type of the possible solutions of a quadratic equation. If the discriminant has a value of -28, what can we conclude about the solution(s) to the equation? There are two real solutions to the quadratic equation. There is only one real solution to the quadratic equation. There are three real solutions to the quadratic equation. There are no real solutions to the quadratic equation.

Explanation:

3x2 -5x+1=0

Quadratic eq ax2 +bx+c=0

Discriminant=b2 -4ac
