Translate the equation :


- (4)/(3) * x = - (16)/(9) \\ - (4)/(3) x = - (16)/(9) \\

Cross multiply


- 4x * 9 = 3 * - 16 \\ - 36x = - 48

Divide both sides by -36


( - 36x)/( - 36) = ( - 48)/( - 36x) \\ x = (4)/(3)
