How might the virginia company have prevented a lot of the suffering that took place in jamestown it’s first years?

Because most of the suffering took place due to the poor harvests that led to events of starvation, the Virginia Company might have tried to send supplies to the colony, as difficult as this might have been.

The Virginia Company might have also sent other goods that could have been valuable to the Native Americans, so that the colonists could trade them for food.
