Where does the graph of the line 3x – 4y = 12 intersect the y-axis?

A. (4,0)
B. (-4, 0)
C. (0, 3)

Answer

[0,-3] should be the right answer

The line should intersect at y axis i.e x=0

Then put the value of x as zero in the equation to find the value of y.

3*0-4y=12

-4y=12

y=12/-4=-3

y=-3 ..
