Answer:
x = 2y + 12
Explanation:
x/2 - 6 = y
+6 +6
x/2 = y + 6
×2 ×2
x = 2(y + 6)
x = 2y + 12

answer: x=2y+12
x/2-6=y
multiply both sides by 2
2(x/2-6)=2(y)
2x/2-12=2y
x-12=2y
add 12 to the both sides
x=2y+12
