The absolute value is the distance the number is from zero. For example, the absolute value of -4 is 4 and the absolute value of 4 is 4. Also |-24| is 24.

The absolute value of -9 is 9. 2 times 9 is 18.

The absolute value of -4 is 4. 4 times 4 is 16.

The absolute value of 1 is 1. 1 times 1 is 1.

The absolute value of 1 is 11. 11 times 11 is 121.

The absolute value of -2 is 2. 9 times 2 is 18.
