Answer:

45(1 + 2)

Explanation:

To find the greatest common factor, we find the multiples of 45 and 90.

45: 1, 3, 5, 9, 15, 45

90: 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 15, 18, 45...

The easier way to do this is divide 90 by 2 to get our GCF, 45.

We place the 45 (GCF) in the first box and we place 1 and 2 in the parentheses because when you distribute, we get our original answer.

45(1 + 2)

You need to find the GCF (greatest common factor) of 45 and 90, which is 45.

45 times ? gets you 45

? would be 1

45 times 1 equals 45.

45 times ? gets you 90

? would be 2

45 times 2 equals 90

45(1+2) = 45+90 = 135

♡ Hope this helps! ♡
