equation would then be 49-14+6 which is 41

2x would be 2 x 7 because when 2 numbers are touching, they are to be multiplied.

x² would be 7 x 7 because, when you have a number to the power of 2, you multiply it by itself.

and finally you would get, 49-14+6 and according to PEMDAS, the eqaution hsould go left to right leaving us with the answer of 41.
